Since I haven't been on here much lately, I figured I'd give y'all some updates on my life recently.

~ My sister is breaking off her engagement, and it's been hard on her and all of her family to watch.  She still loves him, but he refuses to put in any time or effort in their relationship, and she just isn't happy.  I've just been praying a lot for her lately, for her happiness and well-being, and just letting her know that I'm here for her.

~ I got my husband a new TV for his birthday, so we've finally upgraded to the world of high-def TV.  His birthday isn't until next month, but it's a great TV and we saw it on sale for $100. less than what it usually is, so we couldn't pass it up.

~ Something is messed up with my wrist (and of course it just HAD to be my main wrist), so I've been wearing a wrist brace, which is so frustrating and restricting.  I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it, because I didn't actually do anything specific to hurt it, but there's a lump that started out as about the size of a grain of rice and in the two or three weeks that it's been there, it has grown to almost the size of my wrist bone, and it really hurts.  I'm kind of thinking that it might be a ganglion cyst or carpal tunnel, but I don't know for sure, and I really need to get into see my doctor to find out what's going on.

~ I've been reading a lot of The Bible lately, and really enjoying it.  The hubby and I have started to make it a part of our nightly routine to read together when we go to bed. 

~ For the first time in my life, I got kind of made fun of for my faith/religion the other day, although technically it was directed more towards my husband.  All because my hubby told my co-worker (who Mike is friends with) that he felt blessed over something, and then my co-worker started making fun of him for saying that he felt blessed.  That hurt.

~ The hubby and I upgraded our wedding rings.  We don't have them yet because we're waiting to get them back from being sized.  He's getting a tungsten band, and I'm getting a simple diamond band.  I can't wait to get them! I will post pictures when we get them.
